Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton recently announced the Attorney General’s Child Exploitation Unit (CEU) successfully executed a search warrant resulting in the arrest of Jarrett Ray Dwayne Palitza, 22, of Adkins on six counts of Possession of Child Pornography.
The CEU received a request for assistance from the Sealy Police Department involving a case of sexual assault of a 10-year-old female and potential possession and distribution of child pornography.
Luis Rivera, 19, of Irving, Texas, was recently sentenced by U.S. District Judge Jane J. Boyle to 188 months in federal prison, following his guilty plea in October 2015 to one count of conspiracy to commit sex trafficking of children, announced U.S. Attorney John Parker of the Northern District of Texas.

Lindsay and less than two days of deliberation, a federal jury recently convicted a Dallas physician and three owners of home health agencies on various felony offenses, including conspiracy to commit health care fraud, stemming from their participation in a nearly $375 million health care fraud scheme involving fraudulent claims for home health services, announced U.S. Attorney John Parker of the Northern District of Texas.
At approximately 9:41 a.m. on Tuesday March 22, 2016 Kaufman Police responded to a report of shots fired at the Walmart store, located at 300 Kings Fort Parkway in Kaufman, Texas.
Upon arrival Officers entered the Garden Area of the store and discovered two (2) males with gunshot wounds.
On Saturday, February 27, 2016, it was reported to the Forney Police Department that a local business had been burglarized. This was one of three local businesses that had been hit sometime during the night on Friday or in the early morning hours on Saturday.

The Texas Attorney General’s Office (OAG) recently announced the arrest of two suspected child predators following a joint operation between the OAG’s Child Exploitation Unit (CEU), the OAG’s Fugitive Apprehension Unit (FAU) and the Georgetown Police Department (GPD).
On Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at approx. 4 am, Forney Police Officers responded to a suspicious person call at a local business inside the city limits. When the Officer arrived to the area, he saw a vehicle occupied by a person matching the description of the reported suspicious person.
On Saturday, November 28th 2015 at around 10:45 pm, Forney Police responded to a 911 call in reference to an unresponsive male. The person that called 911 was not present when Officers arrived to the 1400 block of Vista Ridge Drive located in the Diamond Creek housing addition.
On November 18, at 8:40 p.m., the Forney Police Department received a 911 call reporting a male armed with a firearm on the north service of U.S. Highway 80, west of Bank of America.
The Kaufman Police Department is investigating a series of complaints in which an unknown person (or persons) is calling individuals and stating that they are an investigator with the Kaufman Police Department and that if they do not pay money to them that they will be arrested.
