Judge Wood Publicly Notifies Gov. Abbott about Political Bullying by Senator Bob Hall

Early on Thursday afternoon Kaufman County Judge Bruce Wood publicly released a Letter to Texas Governor Greg Abbott conveying his deepest concerns over the manner in which Senator Bob Hall has “potentially caused great harm” to the citizens of Kaufman County.

According to Judge Bruce Wood, due to the “bullying actions and political showmanship” of Senator Bob Hall and Senator Don Huffines, the “Texas Transportation Commission has derailed the region’s plans for IH 635 from US 75 to IH 30.”

Explaining Judge Wood stated “Now in an effort  to “backfill” the funding gap caused by elimination of tolled managed lanes, the North Texas Region is now proposing to delay indefinitely the $263 million in transportation improvements to US 80, a major transportation artery for Kaufman County.”

The taxpayers of Kaufman County, and specifically those living in Forney, are highly encouraged to educate themselves by reading the below attached letter from longtime Kaufman County Judge Bruce Wood to Texas Gov. Greg Abbott.
