Council-TIF Board Workshop Scheduled to Review Audit Results

On Tuesday night during his bi-monthly City Manager’s Report, Interim City Manager Wendle Medford announced that the Council will hold a joint meeting with the TIF Board on Thursday evening April 12, 2018.

At this public meeting audit results for the City’s Tax Incentive Finance (TIF) Agreement with Gateway developer Petro-Hunt will be announced, and a plan for repayment of the projects reported infrastructure cost will be discussed.

Interim City Manager Medford said “Dorothy has sent out an email regarding the TIF Council Workshop that is coming up. That’s going to be held on Thursday, April 12th at 5:30 pm. It will be here in the Council Chambers.”

Medford said “At this time we will review the audit report, and we will be bringing forth a TIF Administrator who will make a recommendation to both the TIF Board and the Council. We will also have our financial adviser here to answer any questions the council might have.”
