On Tuesday night the Forney Council listened to a lengthy presentation made by city contracted trash collectors, Consolidated Waste Disposal (CWD).
CWD representatives and the Council spent considerable time discussing CWD’s trash collection contract and procedures, as well as reviewing several citizen complaints received by the city regarding homeowner brush collection cost.
Following the CWD presentation, Mayor Rick Wilson opened the public meeting to “Citizens Comments” and immediately thereafter Community Value Thrift Center owner Pat Griffin stepped to the podium.
Thoroughly informing the council about the many problems his non-profit business has endured from the management of CWD; the homeowners of Forney may find interest in the below video.
