At their Wednesday night November 14, 2018 meeting, the Forney Parks and Recreation Department will discuss and consider plans for a new North Side Community Park which currently has an estimated cost ranging between thirty-two and forty-two million dollars.
Forney’s Parks Board and subsequently the City Council will need to convince the taxpayers of the City of Forney to vote on the approval of bonds necessary to pay for another community park.
Therefore, Forney’s taxpayers may want to review the attached prospective park plans in order to monitor this latest multi-million dollar expenditure, in advance of its approval.
The current member’s of the Forney Parks and Recreation Board of Directors includes:
Thomas Anich, Chairman
Anne Enloe, Vice-Chairman
The meetings of the Forney Parks Board are held at the administration building with Forney Community Park, and are freely open to attendance by the public.
Comments or suggestions regarding the new North Forney Community Park may be directed to Forney Parks Director Richard Curry by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
