The voters should be thrilled to discover incumbent Council Member's Shaun Myers, Kevin Moon and David Johnson and Mayor Rick Wilson will all be challenged for their council seats.

The candidate's for the Forney City Council May 2019 General Election will be:

Incumbent - Mayor Rick Wilson vs. Place 5 Council Member Mary Penn

Incumbent - Place 2 Council Member Shaun Myers vs. Michael Lopez

Incumbent - Place 4 Council Member Kevin Moon vs. Ken Hill

Incumbent - Place 6 Council Member David Johnson vs. Reef Gullium

Unfortunately, the voter's of Forney will not be representing themselves at the polls during this election.

The Citizen's for Term Limits petitioner's were just short of obtaining the required number of signatures needed to get on the May 2019 ballot.
