Forney Police Make Arrest After High Speed Chase

On Monday, May 13th, 2019 at 2:52 pm, Forney Police noticed a suspicious vehicle possibly involved in a theft exiting the parking lot of Lowe’s.
The driver of the red Toyota Tacoma failed to stop, and a pursuit ensued. The pursuit went through Forney, entering onto westbound I20 towards Dallas and ended in the area of 635 and westbound Hwy 175. A computer check showed the vehicle to be stolen out of Terrell PD.
With the assistance of the Kaufman County Constables Pct. 2 and Balch Springs PD, all three occupants of the stolen vehicle were apprehended.
Arrested are 31-year-old Amanda Stacy Hernandez, h/f of Dallas, 27-year-old Jonathan Deundrae Crawford, b/m of Dallas, and 31-year-old Jose Pascual Hernandez, h/m of Dallas. A. Hernandez and J. Crawford are both charged with Evading, MA. J. Hernandez is charged with Evading STF and Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, STF. Bonds will be set after arraignment.
