Redbud Street Construction Site a Muddy Mess

The City of Forney’s first major roadway reconstruction project is heavily underway on Redbud Street and because of recent heavy rain homeowners in this neighborhood are navigating a very muddy street that is littered with construction debris and trash.

Motorists traveling through this older section of Forney are advised to exercise extreme caution as construction workers keep the roadway open to through traffic while sewer pipes are installed underneath Redbud Street between York Street and FM 740.

The safety and security of this area is being monitored on a daily basis by the City of Forney.

Because this project is estimated to cost the taxpayers approximately 5 million dollars perhaps the Forney City Manager's office could request the construction company clean up their unsightly construction site.
