NFHS Relay Swimmers Set New School Records

On Saturday, the North Forney High School swim team traveled to Carrollton, Texas to compete in their latest meet and brought home two new school records.

This meet was for swimmers who do have TISCA cuts. A big meet with qualifying times and if the swimmer doesn’t hit one, then the race doesn't score.

The Falcon Boys Relay hit their TISCA times and did not score. However, 400 Free Relay swimmers Damon Harper, Rusty Clark, Robby Clark and David Miranda set a new school record and posted the fastest time.

Excited about the Carrollton meet results and looking forward to the next competition, Head Swim Coach Dwayne Davis said, “We would like to invite everyone to the Rockwall YMCA Friday night at 7 for the Unity Swim, a dual meet between The Falcons and The Jackrabbits.”

The Medley Relay team of Chad Phillips, Austin Clevenger, Rusty, and Damon also posted the fastest time, and the 200 Free Relay of Chad, Robby, David and Jeff Sharp posted in second place.
