On Thursday afternoon the new Christian Brothers Automotive location in Forney held a lunch time Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, and in spite of the heat and humidity everyone attending had a nice time visiting and enjoying the Street Taco lunch served.
Hosted by owners Mark and Amy Stehr, Christian Brothers Automotive is located 725 E. U.S. Highway 80, next to Jack in the Box.
Explaining why he chose Forney for their second shop location, Mark Stehr stated “We moved to Forney for the opportunity to serve our people and to be honest and ethical and also offer excellence in automotive repair. We do all makes, all models. We’re open Monday through Friday 7 to 6 pm and we’re closed on Saturday’s and Sunday to give our employees time to spend with their families.”
Stehr said “We have a Rockwall location right off of Ralph Hall behind Home Depot, we opened that store in 2012, and we were just very blessed to have customers coming to Rockwall from Forney to get their cars serviced, so we saw the need. It turns out that we’ve been blessed, so we do this to glorify God and to give back to the community.”
Mark Stehr said “We’re here to serve anybody with any of their automotive needs that might be necessary. And we’re going to provide an experience that will wow you.”
Christian Brothers Automotive also offers Texas State Inspection services, sell and installs batteries and provides needed towing services for their customers.
A new member of the Forney Chamber of Commerce, an official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was held after which raffle tickets were drawn.
City Bank Vice-President Susan Seabolt was the lucky winner of a 55’ inch big screen television and several other nice prizes including a Zeti ice chest, a collapsible wagon and several brake and tune-up certificates were also awarded.
