Tour des Fleurs Celebrates 13th Anniversary on September 15 Benefiting the Dallas Arboretum

Celebrating its 13th anniversary, Tour des Fleurs has announced the quarter and half marathon races benefiting the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden to be held on September 15. Hosted by the Dallas Arboretum, the USATF certified race starts and finishes on the lakeside trail of White Rock Lake.

Touted as "Dallas' best post-race party," this year's party is a huge celebration of the 13th anniversary featuring live music such as Emerald City Band, Dallas' Favorite Party Band, complimentary food, beer and other beverages, and freebies from a variety of TDF sponsors.

The celebration begins after the races and takes place at the Dallas Arboretum's Martin Rutchik Concert Stage & Lawn overlooking the picturesque White Rock Lake. Overall winner awards are announced at 9:15 a.m.

Tour des Fleurs has become a tradition for more than 3,000 runners, and online registration is now open for the September event at Take advantage of the early registration discount. The fee increases each month up until race day. Tours des Fleurs offers cash prizes for overall winners in both the quarter marathon and half marathon.

The race starts and ends at the Dallas Arboretum, 8525 Garland Road, Dallas, Texas 75218. The Arboretum's 1,100-space parking garage, located directly across the street from the Rory Meyers Children's Adventure Garden, opens at 5:00 a.m. for runners. Walkers and strollers are welcome.
