Kroger of Forney Donates School Supplies to Forney ISD

Over the summer, several customers at the Kroger Store in Forney spent a little extra money at the checkout and helped the grocer provide school supply kits to the students in Forney ISD.

On Tuesday, Aug. 28, cadets in the Forney ISD Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFJROTC) traveled to the Forney Kroger Store and loaded all the school supply kit donations on a school bus.

The donations were then delivered by the cadets to the Presbyterian Church in Forney where the Forney Community Ministries will store the donations.

The non-profit organization also stocks school uniforms for students in the District. Forney ISD students can contact the organization about picking up uniforms and/or school supplies from the organization.
