Criswell PTO Holds Festive Halloween Carnival

On Saturday night the teachers and staff of Criswell Elementary School joined forces with the Criswell PTO to produce a fun and festive Halloween carnival that was thoroughly enjoyed by several hundred Forney families.

Filling the school’s gymnasium and cafeteria with a large variety of activities including a large bounce house, a cake walk, a pumpkin decorating room alongside about a dozen carnival games, the children attending this event had an absolutely wonderful time celebrating the upcoming Halloween holiday.

Families paid a $5 admission for the all-inclusive Halloween carnival and the children attending were provided with face-painting, balloon animals, popcorn and candy, candy and more candy.

Getting into their Halloween spirits four members of the Criswell staff competed in a mini-pie eating contest that was extremely funny to the children watching.

And all the children attending participated in an over-all best costume contest in which 1st Place was awarded to three little boys dressed a Thomas the Train, 2nd Place was awarded to a young Jet Pilot and 3rd Place was awarded to a beautiful Ice Princess.
