City of Rockwall Upgrades Dog Area at Myers Park

The City of Rockwall Parks Department will begin work on a project to improve the turf quality at the Myers Park off-leash dog area due to high traffic and soil compaction. This project will hopefully reduce the wear and tear on the grass which eventually creates a muddy experience.

THe Parks Department will be testing three different types of turf that are known for their wear resistance and shade tolerance.

Rockwall Will Ring in the Fourth with a Bang

The City of Rockwall has a whole host of activities planned to celebrate the Fourth of July next week.

On Tuesday, July 4, the day starts with a parade at 11 a.m. that begins at Utley Middle School on TL Townsend Drive and ends at Dobbs Elementary on Clark Street.
