The City of Rockwall Parks Department will begin work on a project to improve the turf quality at the Myers Park off-leash dog area due to high traffic and soil compaction. This project will hopefully reduce the wear and tear on the grass which eventually creates a muddy experience.
THe Parks Department will be testing three different types of turf that are known for their wear resistance and shade tolerance.
