Forney Jackrabbit Homecoming Parade Marches through Town

On Saturday morning the Forney High Jackrabbits paraded through downtown for their annual Homecoming Parade to the delight of hundreds of area families.

The parade began at Warren Middle School on South Bois d’Arc and slowly preceded though the historic downtown district.

Hundreds of families lined up to watch the parade pass and dozens of the children attending jumped and cheered as candy was thrown from about two dozen cars, floats and walking parade participants.

The Forney High Marching Band along with the FHS Highstepper’s and the FHS Varsity Jackrabbits all received a cheering response from the crowd as they marched through downtown.
