So, Forney had an early 6-0 lead to work with. A key play on this drive was a 7-yard pass completion on a 4th and 6 situation from Campbell Anderson to Sean Stephens which helped the Rabbits pick up a vital first down. Two plays later, Stephens would find the end zone.

But, Ennis responded with a 9 play 57-yard touchdown drive of their own. The TD came on a 1-yard quarterback sneak from Dyllan Santos. After the TD, Ennis made the PAT which gave them a 7-6 lead at the 10:41 mark of the 2nd quarter.

The 2nd half was full of offense for both teams. First, Ennis came out of the locker room and went on a 7 play 47-yard touchdown drive which was capped off by a 9-yard run by Mr. Santos. After this TD, Ennis was successful on a 2-point conversion attempt which cut Forney’s lead to 23-15 at the 9:57 mark of the 3rd quarter.

However, Forney kept firing back as well. The Rabbits would march 71 yards in 9 plays for another touchdown. The TD came on a 2-yard run by Austin Ream out of the Wildcat formation. After this TD, Forney led 37-22 at the 11:49 mark of the 4th quarter. A big play on this drive was a 38-yard pass completion from Campbell Anderson to Austin Ream.
