Dallas Christian Wins Regional Championship /Advances To State Final Four

On Friday, February 22, in a Regional Final Playoff Game, the state ranked Dallas Christian Lady Charger Basketball Team defeated state ranked Austin Regents High School by a count of 65-43. With this victory, the Lady Chargers have now earned the right to call themselves Regional Champions!

Dallas Christian’s overall record now stands at 21-13. The Lady Chargers will now advance to the TAPPS Basketball State Final Four for the third time in the last four years. In their State Semi Final Game, Dallas Christian will square off against Trinity Christian-Cedar Hill High School. Cedar Hill has an overall record right now of 23-3.

This game is scheduled to be played on Friday, March 1st at Waco University High School. Tip Time: 6:00 p.m. Trinity Christian-Cedar Hill and Dallas Christian are currently ranked #1 and #3 respectively in the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches’ TAPPS 5A State Rankings.

In the Regional Final Playoff Game vs. Austin Regents High School, Dallas Christian’s Taylor Jones scored a game high 30 points while also grabbing 14 rebounds.
