Meanwhile, for the record, Ms. Cunningham produced a great individual tournament as well. She finished 10th in the final individual standings. She shot a two-day total of 158 (77-81).

According to North Forney’s Head Golf Coach—Mr. Tommy Mankins, Ms. Cunningham missed qualifying to the State Tournament by just 5 strokes.

This North Forney Girls Golf Team made history this year with a couple of first-time achievements for their program. This is the first time that a North Forney Lady Falcon Golf Team has ever won the District Team Title. Also, this is the first time that a North Forney Lady Falcon Golf Team has ever qualified to the Regional Tournament. So, this has been a very special year indeed for the North Forney Lady Falcon Golf Program.

Ms. Teer shot a two-day total of 230 (114-116) while Ms. Preston registered a two-day total of 235 (123-112).
