When Calleigh’s hit landed in play, all of the Forney runners turned on the speed to score. In fact, when Calleigh came around and slid into home safely, she was credited with a 3 RBI Inside the park homer. So, now the score was 7-1 in favor of Forney. Later in this same inning, Sadie Hewitt came up again (Sadie had led off this 4th inning for Forney with a double to right-center) and she registered another big hit in the form of a 2 RBI double to center which increased Forney’s advantage to 9-1. Finally, Savannah Hughes stepped to the plate and delivered a 2 RBI double to left to make the score 11-1.
