Heritage Land Bank Names Recipients of $3,000 in Grants

To support the next generation of Texas producers and landowners, Heritage Land Bank held a contest in which local FFA Chapters could apply to win funds for their chapter in form of a grant.

Heritage Land Bank set out to give away a total of $3,000 in grants to three deserving FFA chapters.

After careful review of the applications of many local chapters, the three recipients have been selected. These recipients were chosen based on how will the money be used, how the funds will impact students’ learning, how many kids will be impacted, how the grant will impact a student’s college and career readiness, and how it will improve the Ag Department.

The three recipients of the first annual Heritage Proud Grants are as follows.

$1,5000 will be awarded to Bland FFA.

$1,000 will be awarded to Lindale FFA.

$500 will be awarded to Rusk FFA.

Heritage Land Bank is thrilled to congratulate the three recipients; and also express their deep appreciation for all of the applicants who participated, for their time and effort spent.

“Congratulations to our recipients, and thank you to all others who applied,” VP of Marketing, Yaziri Orrostieta says. “We were impressed with the engagement from our local chapters, and encourage all applicants to apply again next year! We are glad to provide this support to our next generation in agriculture.”
