The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is proposing to reconstruct and widen I-635 from US 75 to I-30 in Dallas County. The meeting begins with an open house viewing from 5-6 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 31 with the formal hearing starting at 6 p.m. at the Highland Oaks Church of Christ, 10805 Walnut Hill Lane in Dallas.
The purpose is to present planned improvements and to receive public comment. The project includes the reconstruction and widening on 11.2 miles of I-635 from US 75 to I-30 and improvements on 2.1 miles of I-30 from west of Gus Thomasson Road to east of Galloway Avenue in the cities of Dallas, Garland and Mesquite.
